# work with me

Short, honest, and useful — or your money back.

I run Roushan Venture Studio solo and publish weekly on AI product strategy. If you're shipping an AI product, I can probably help with one of these.

Every paid engagement: if you don't walk away with a clear decision, I refund.

> what you get

No slide decks

I show up on a call and we ship notes, decisions, or code.

Skin in the game

I run a 27-product portfolio. I'm telling you what I'd do with my own money and time.

One strong opinion

I'll tell you what I think you should do, not list five options. You can push back.

Recording + notes

Every paid call comes with a recording and a written summary so the team can align after.

> not a fit

You want me to do the execution (I'm a founder, not an agency)

Your product has no AI differentiation and you want me to bolt it on

You're looking for generic product strategy — there are better generalists

You want ongoing engineering work on your product

> faq

What kind of founders do you work best with?

+

Pre-seed to Series A founders shipping AI products. Either non-technical founders who need a sparring partner on architecture and moats, or technical founders who need help on positioning, pricing, and distribution. The common thread is shipping discipline — I'm useful to people who are actually moving.

What is your turnaround time?

+

Office hours bookings happen within 7 days. Advisory retainers start with a kickoff call within 5 business days of contract. Remote build sessions are scheduled 1–2 weeks out. If you have a hard deadline, say so in the first email and I'll tell you upfront if I can hit it.

Do you take equity instead of cash?

+

Occasionally, on advisory retainers, when the company is interesting and the cap is reasonable. I do not take equity in lieu of office hours or build sessions. Cash is the default and removes the most friction.

Will you sign an NDA?

+

Yes for advisory engagements before the first deep call. For one-off office hours I rely on professional discretion — most founders share things in office hours that they would not put in a formal contract anyway.

Will the deliverable be slide decks or written reports?

+

No. Every paid call ends with a recording, a written summary of decisions, and a next-three-moves note. No slide decks, no 40-page reports. If you want a polished artifact for your board, I will help you assemble it from the working notes, but that is not the default.

Do you do hands-on engineering for the company?

+

Not as a long-term engagement. Remote build sessions are the closest I get — half a day of paired building so your team sees the pattern, then they take over. I am a founder running my own portfolio; I cannot also be your engineering team.

How does newsletter sponsorship work?

+

One sponsor per issue, no exclusivity. I write the sponsor section myself in my own voice — I will not run copy that I would not endorse. Rates and reach numbers on request.

Where are you based and which timezones do you work in?

+

Bengaluru, India (IST, GMT+5:30). I take calls comfortably from 09:00 to 22:00 IST, which covers US East morning, US West evening, all of Europe, all of APAC. I do not take calls between 22:00 and 09:00 IST except in genuine emergencies.

Not sure which to pick? Start with email and tell me the problem in 3 sentences.
